Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I have a client who came to me with a female Labrador who had been frightened at a dog show, when the gazebo blew over on her. She had been a good show dog up until this time.
I went to see the dog in the back of their station wagon. I could not get her to come near me, so I offered her some of the Release oil blend to smell. She moved towards the essential oil, smelled it, and then slowly came up to me and let me work on her. I used Release that first day by putting a few drops on her tummy. She breathed a big sigh and lay down on the ground.
At the next dog show, the owner told me that the Labrador was much better and would get out of the car and walk near the dog show. I again offered the dog some Release to smell, and she came and licked it off my hand, asking for more.
After a while she walked around the show grounds with me and was now carrying her tail out. This was a good sign of her being much happier.
I sent the owner home with the Peace & Calming oil blend for the Labrador, and she phoned to tell me how happy the dog had become with everyone, even the cleaning lady, whom she had been frightened of before (with all the noise of the vacuum cleaner).
The Labrador was soon happily back in the show ring. Sadly this girl got bitten by a snake when the owner was out. They were unable to save the dog, but at least the last 3 months of her life were enjoyable.
