Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I diffuse Lavender essential oil every night when I go to bed. I noticed that, when I do this, I do not wake up sweating from hot flashes during the night.
On a couple of occasions I didn't diffuse, and I woke up soaked in sweat. So I started diffusing again, and the night hot flashes stopped. I am also able to sleep throughout the night!
I mainly did the Lavender essential oil just because I know it is known for its ability to relax. But now I know it helps with stopping my hot flashes as well! Lavender will be a mainstay in my monthly Essential Rewards order.

This study further implies that HRV could evaluate the efficacy of aromatherapy using various fragrances to relieve premenstrual symptoms, and ultimately, support the mind and body health of women." | Link |
2. | Associated topics: hormones — "Therapy with beta-caryophyllene [present in many essential oils] may present a promising novel, non-toxic therapeutic option for patients with endometriosis." | Link |

7. | Associated topics: relaxation-/-rest — "The ylang ylang oil caused a significant decrease of blood pressure and a significant increase of skin temperature. At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans." | Link |
8. | Associated topics: sleep — "Lavender essential oil has been used as an anxiolytic [anxiety] drug, a mood stabilizer, a sedative, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antihypertensive [high blood pressure], antimicrobial, analgesic [pain] agent as well as a wound healing accelerator....
