Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

For many years, I've had a "wonky" thyroid. The endocrinologist put me on daily medication, but its effectiveness was limited. It helped some symptoms but not others.

Between three doctors, they still couldn't tell if I had Graves' disease or Hashimoto's disease (also known as Hashimoto's thyroiditis)! One doctor would raise my dose, and yet another would say it was too high and lower it. Grrr! I ran out of my refills and didn't want to go back to any more doctors, not to mention that the pills didn't work much anyway.

A friend told me that she used Myrtle essential oil to maintain thyroid health, so I put one drop on my throat over the thyroid (I just rubbed it lightly in). I did this three times per day at first, but then I went down to two times per day after a couple of weeks. I could feel the results in less than 5 minutes. I still had some symptoms though.

I had a ZYTO Scan, which told me I needed Dragon Time essential oil blend. I started rubbing it on my throat over my thyroid -- along with the Myrtle -- and now I feel great! I used to feel a tightening over my throat at times, but I haven't felt that at all since I started using both essential oils.

It is so wonderful not to have to take those ineffective pills anymore, and I get the added benefit of smelling these fabulous essential oils all day.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: thyroid,hyperthyroidism-(Overactivity) — "After inhalation of clary sage oil, cortisol levels were significantly decreased.... Thyroid stimulating hormone was also reduced.... Clary sage oil has antidepressant-like effect...."Link
2.Associated topics: autoimmune-diseases — "DHEA [a component of PD 80/20], an androstene hormone [precursor to estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, cortisone, and other hormones], has been shown to possess a wide range of beneficial biological effects mainly attributed to immune system modulation.... thus leading to beneficial effects in diverse human diseases including resistance to infection, neuroprotection, wound healing, diabetes, hepatic injury, cardiovascular disease, and cancer."Link
3.Associated topics: hypothyroidism-(Low-Activity) — "Myrtle oil (MO) exerts hypoglycemic as well as mild hypotriglyceridemic activity in diabetic animals. The reduction in blood glucose level may be due to the reversible inhibition of alpha-glucosidases present in the brush-border of the small intestinal mucosa, higher rate of glycolysis as envisaged by the higher activity of glucokinase, as one of the key enzymes of glycolysis, and enhanced rate of glycogenesis as evidenced by the higher amount of liver glycogen present after MO administration."Link
4.Associated topics: autoimmune-diseases — "Immunomodulatory activity of frankincense oil: Biologically, the oil exhibited a strong immunostimulant activity (90% lymphocyte transformation) when assessed by a lymphocyte proliferation assay."Link
5.Associated topics: autoimmune-diseases — "Anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antimicrobial, antioxidant, carminative [flatulence] and immunomodulatory properties of caraway suggest that it might exert beneficial effects on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).... CHE and CEO [caraway essential oil] at all doses tested were effective in reducing colon tissue lesions and colitis indices and the efficacy was nearly the same when different doses of plant fractions were administered p.o. or i.p..... These data suggest that caraway fractions are both effective and possess anti-colitic activity irrespective of the dose and route of administration."Link
6.Associated topics: autoimmune-diseases — "Pycnogenol [French maritime pine bark extract] could be useful for second-line therapy to reduce the inflammatory feature of SLE [systemic lupus erythematosus]."Link
7.Associated topics: autoimmune-diseases — "These results suggest that the volatile oil of ginger influences both cell-mediated immune response and nonspecific proliferation of T lymphocyte, and may exert beneficial effects in a number of clinical conditions, such as chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases."Link
