Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
Between 3 car accidents, 5 children, and 3 years as a professional wrestler and valet, my spine was in really bad shape. I had a ruptured disk and EIGHT herniated and bulging disks.
When my back finally went out in 2006, I spent 6 weeks unable to move. I once moved my toe and ended up with spasms so bad that they cracked two ribs and constricted my breathing. So I ended up passing out from the pain and lack of oxygen. I spent 3 years unable to walk.
I used chiropractic care for many years with at least enough relief to be able to sort of function -- but not actually get better -- and I was still in a lot of pain. And if I missed more than a few weeks of treatment, I would be bedridden for weeks again.
In the early days I would hurt so much after an adjustment that I would throw up from the pain. I still cannot be twisted to get to the L3, L4, or L5, as that is where I had a disk rupture, which messed up the nerves and muscle tissue pretty bad. The disks in my neck actually go in a backward "C" curve, and I was diagnosed with "end stage 2" or "beginning stage 3" disk degeneration.
I started Young Living essential oils first to address 11 years of recurring shingles (and I was pleased with the results). Then I started using the oils on my spine. I used Idaho Balsam Fir, Frankincense, and Copaiba as needed in the "morphine bomb" (5 drops of each in a veggie capsule).
I also layered them along my spine, along with Peppermint (I have heard others use Wintergreen or PanAway). I also used a homemade discomfort relief cream (1 cup of coconut oil with 10 drops each of Valor, PanAway, and Peppermint).
I tried the Raindrop Technique once, but it didn't help; but I did incorporate some of the Raindrop oils with the ones above, always followed by Copaiba and that did seem to help. I have also used Aroma Siez, Juniper, and Palo Santo along with those. I really didn't have a certain method I used, I mainly used what I had and applied all neat (undiluted) to my entire spine.
Sometimes I would add Ortho Ease Massage Oil or coconut oil. Deep Relief has the key oils in it that I used, but I would go through it really quick; so I just bought the singles and layered the same oils as I needed them.
I also added 4-6 ounces a day of NingXia Red juice, taking 2-3 Sulfurzyme a day with one of my NingXia Red servings.
I continue to use chiropractic care. I use two different chiropractors: one is a therapeutic, and the other is an objective straight.
Since adding the oils and supplements to the chiropractic treatments, I have noticed that my spine has actually begun a healing process, and I have REAL discomfort relief for the first time in 11 years! My discomfort scale went -- on a scale of 1-10 -- from a 20 down to a 0-1. YES, I literally have days where I have NO discomfort! Woo hoo!
And I never had surgery -- only oils, supplements, chiropractic care, and diet changes! I got rid of processed food and almost all sugars, wheat, and gluten. That has made a big difference too.
It doesn't happen overnight. I would say that it took a good year to now be able to look back and be where I am today, but I had major relief and actually began the healing process right away. And I am still healing. It has been a long journey.
Now I am actually getting my life back! And I have been able to replace all of the things that I had tried in the past that had caused so many side effects! It has been a year now, and I feel so much better since getting those out of my system.
