Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I found Sticky Tack (a gummy adhesive) melted in a drawer of mine, all over pens and pencils. After cleaning out all the ruined items, I was left with sticky hands and a sticky drawer.
I had read that Lemon essential oil helps to remove stuck labels on jars, so I tried some Lemon oil in this sticky drawer. With two drops, some paper towel, and only a couple drops of elbow grease, the sticky tack came right off.
Next I had to deal with my hands. I dropped two drops of Lemon oil onto my hands, rubbed them together for a minute, and then ran them under water to wash off the sticky residue.
My hands now have a pleasant Lemon smell, are smooth, and are no longer sticky.
