Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
A few years ago I noticed that I was getting a cradle cap-like dandruff. I tried absolutely everything that I read about. Rinsing with apple cider vinegar did not work and rinsing with Listerine only dried my hair out.
I thought, "Let's try some essential oils!" So I mixed up the following recipe in the palm of my hand:
* Hair conditioner (enough for one application)
* 1 drop Lavender oil
* 1 drop Peppermint oil
* 1 drop Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) oil
I massaged this mixture into my scalp, left it on the whole time that I was in the shower, and then rinsed it out.
After about a week and a half I noticed that the dandruff was almost completely gone!
I kept up this regimen for another few weeks and I have not had any dandruff since.
