Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have been struggling with bronchiectasis (aka. Bronchiectasia), complicated by MAC (mycobacterium avium complex) and asthma for about fourteen years.

I was started on steroids, rotating antibiotics, and breathing treatments by Dr. Dunlap at Kirkland Clinic, UAB. I was hospitalized multiple times each year, with each time worse than before. My condition continued to deteriorate with severe coughing, mucus, nausea, chills, and continuous supplemental oxygen. I had no quality of life.

My last bronchoscopy was on July 25, 2014. That would usually help me breathe for a few months, but I received absolutely no benefit this last time. The doctor told my husband that there was nothing more he knew to do and that the antibiotics would eventually stop working.

On August 25, 2014, I had a very severe coughing spasm with so much mucus that I could not clear my airway to breathe. Things got worse as I began to try to vomit due to so much mucus. I could not keep the O2 (oxygen) on or do breathing treatments due to the coughing and mucus. My husband and I thought that I would die.

I finally remembered the rescue inhaler that the doctor had given me for such episodes. It did help. Then the O2 began to give me a little relief too.

A friend called the next day to check on me, and I told her about my experience. She said she was bringing me some essential oils that she had started to use. I said, "Come on over; I have nothing to lose."

She came and brought her Young Living essential oils. She put a few drops in my hand, and I inhaled. I could immediately breathe better.

She gave me samples of Joy, Thieves, Peppermint, and Ravintsara. I put one drop of each in the water reservoir of my BiPAP (bilevel positive airway pressure machine) that night.

The next morning was as if someone had flipped a light switch. I could breathe deeply without coughing, had very little mucus, and had no nausea. I could not believe the difference.

I repeated that protocol for the next three weeks and then returned to my pulmonologist for my six-month checkup. He could hardly believe that I was the same patient that he had seen in July begging him for help.

I gave my pulmonologist a Young Living pamphlet and told him what I was doing. He said that he could not argue with success.

He stopped all further breathing treatments because my airflow was now good. He also told me that, if I continued for the next two to three weeks to do as well as I had been doing, I should stop all antibiotics.

For the first time in almost fourteen years, I am off all breathing treatments, steroids, and antibiotics. I have come from hardly being able to walk or leave my house to returning from a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean on the Carnival Dream -- thanks to God, prayers, and Young Living Essential Oils!
