At an Angels game in 2009 I bumped my toe into a step. For 5 years I tried numerous over-the-counter meds. Not only did they not work, but the fungus got worse.
In September 2014 I began applying the Thieves essential oil blend mostly because that is what came in my kit. I applied a drop neat (undiluted) right at the top of the nail. It would drip down under my nail, and I would massage it in. I did this once a day for about 2 months.
The fungus turned black, but that's okay because I read somewhere that would happen. The nail began to grow out, and the new growth was CLEAN and FREE FROM FUNGUS!
I also began to apply Oregano essential oil (diluted with coconut oil) and Melaleuca essential oil neat, applied the same way as the Thieves blend. I rotate the essential oils and apply once a day. Sometimes I forgot and took a couple of days off.
I am absolutely amazed because the nail is almost completely free from fungus! There is a small part at the top of the nail that hasn't grown out yet, but I KNOW that it will be all clear in about a month!
My beautiful toes are back, and I can go without nail polish!
