Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I tried many treatments over the counter and not one worked for my 8-year-old son's plantar wart! Next we took him to the dermatologist, but that wasn't a success because they just wanted to numb the area and then shave off the wart.
Then I came across an article about Oregano essential oil. I started my son's treatment in the beginning of December 2014 and ended in January 2015, after almost 2 months of the regimen.
I am happy to report that the wart is gone! I still apply some Oregano essential oil even though the wart is no longer there, since plantar warts can be stubborn. The skin is now much better and is showing no scarring.
These essential oils have saved us money and the agony of another visit to the foot doctor.

We detail... the successful treatment with TTO of a paediatric patient with warts on her right middle finger. TTO was applied topically once daily to the lesions for 12 days, with a successful outcome, including complete re-epithelization of the infected areas. The case highlights the potential use of TTO in the treatment of common warts due to human papilloma virus." | Link |
