Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
We have been hearing of teeth being able, with proper support, to strengthen and actually reverse possible deterioration. With that in mind, I have made up our own toothpaste, and we have been using it since the second week of October 2014.
I had a lower tooth that had a dark spot for years. Several years ago a dentist had managed to break through the weakened enamel (expecting that I would be back soon to get it filled, but I have never returned). Then my husband had a tooth that was starting to give him grief.
So we both started using our new tooth cleaner. It is baking soda mixed with melted organic Tropical Traditions coconut oil (enough to make a paste in a 2-ounce jar). To this mixture we added 6 drops of the Thieves essential oil blend and 2 drops of Spearmint essential oil.
Right away my husband noticed a great improvement in his troubled tooth. Within days he stopped thinking of getting the tooth pulled. Soon after that, the tooth had settled totally, and he can again chew on that side with no trouble.
And just today after checking my teeth, I found that my tooth had no discernible dark spot, though in the past I remember one having been there for years.
