Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I had my first ZYTO Scan in September 2014. Even with many known health issues, we were surprised to see that I scanned for 32 markers for Helichrysum. My ZYTO Scan came back suggesting the use of the following essential oils daily with a carrier oil:
* 1 drop Lemongrass
* 1 drop Ginger
* 1 drop Helichrysum
Being new to this, I was skeptical at best. But after being introduced to the PanAway essential oil blend and finally getting relief, I decided to give the recipe a try. I ordered my essential oils and bought some fractionated coconut oil.
Having lung issues, many scents are intolerable to me. This blend of oils turned out to be one of them. I chose to rub the blend on the bottoms of my feet, as far from my nose as possible. I massaged the blend all over the bottom of my feet, not just certain areas.
I wanted to focus on my lungs, but, with many health issues, I really needed the oils to help everywhere possible. Then something unexpected happened.
I have suffered from extreme heart palpitations since I was a child. Open heart surgery made these episodes more frequent and longer in duration. Having had ablation done once, I refused a second time, not wanting to be pacemaker dependent.
I began to notice that my episodes of palpitations were not happening as often, and my heart would even revert back to a normal rhythm sooner. Soon the palpitations were nonexistent!
I temporarily stopped the essential oil blend for 3 days, suspecting that the essential oils were the cause of my good fortune. Sure enough, my palpitations returned. So I restarted my "ZYTO blend" and have had no palpitations since.
My cardiologist confirmed this via my pacemaker yesterday. We are slowly reducing my anti-arrhythmic meds in order to determine if I may eventually be able to stop them all together.

1. | Associated topics: heart — "Myrtle oil (MO) exerts hypoglycemic as well as mild hypotriglyceridemic activity in diabetic animals. The reduction in blood glucose level may be due to the reversible inhibition of alpha-glucosidases present in the brush-border of the small intestinal mucosa, higher rate of glycolysis as envisaged by the higher activity of glucokinase, as one of the key enzymes of glycolysis, and enhanced rate of glycogenesis as evidenced by the higher amount of liver glycogen present after MO administration." | Link |
2. | Associated topics: heart — "[I]dentifying... the effects of YYA [ylang ylang aroma] on blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) is important in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of YYA. The present results demonstrated that inhalation of YYA significantly decreased the systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Inhalation of YYA also significantly decreased the HRs in 10 leads.... In the present results, YYA caused a reduction of HR and BP, and a relief of the arousal level in healthy men. The present results show a sedative effect of YYA, and this study provides some evidences for the usage of YYA [as a] medicinal agent." | Link |
3. | Associated topics: heart — "Aromatherapy... [consisting of] a blend of oils of lemon (Citrus limonum), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), and ylang ylang (Cananga odorata)... is effective in lowering systolic blood pressure and sympathetic nerve system activity... of heart rate variability." | Link |
4. | Associated topics: helichrysum-oil — "...its flowers and leaves are the most used parts in the treatment of health disorders such as allergies, colds, cough, skin, liver and gallbladder disorders, inflammation, infections and sleeplessness... In vitro studies characterized Helichrysum as an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent. Its flavonoids and terpenes were effective against bacteria (e.g. Staphylococcus aureus), its acetophenones, phloroglucinols and terpenoids displayed antifungal action against Candida albicans and its flavonoids and phloroglucinols inhibited HSV and HIV, respectively.... Regarding Helichrysum italicum in vivo activity, the highlight goes to ...the anti-inflammatory properties exhibited by its flavonoids, acetophenones and phloroglucinols, as seen in animal models." | Link |
