My 15-year-old son was going to a dance, and he had white, checkered shorts on as we ate dinner. He accidentally got some ketchup on them. As he tried to wipe it off, it smeared worse.

So I grabbed the bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner. After having my son take off his shorts, I poured some of the cleaner, undiluted, on the area that was stained.

I waited about a minute for the stained area to soak, and then I rubbed the stain with a rag for a minute or two. It came right out!

In the meantime, my son decided to wear some dark-colored shorts to the dance instead. So I just put the white, checkered shorts in the hamper to be washed as usual. This worked out well because then I did not have to spend time rinsing out the Thieves Household Cleaner.

This stuff works great as a spot remover, and I highly recommend it!
