After having used several essential oils on a daily basis to help with emotional support, I had not realized the power of diffusing the oils at night until I forgot to diffuse for about 2 weeks straight. I had taken my diffuser to a class and then had failed to plug it back in on my night stand.
After a couple weeks, some of my symptoms and emotional frustrations were getting the better of me. I upped my topical applications of essential oils, but this was not quite cutting it.
Then I realized that I had not been diffusing at night! My lucky combo has been Elemi and Tangerine essential oils together. I always place 3 drops of each in either the Home Diffuser or the Dewdrop Diffuser and then diffuse until the diffuser shuts itself off overnight.
A member of the same botanical family as Frankincense and Myrrh, Elemi has a grounding, balancing influence. And like many other citrus oils, Tangerine helps me feel calm and worry free.
According to the company, Tangerine is a calming essential oil with a sweet, tangy aroma, similar to Orange. It helps with occasional nervous irritability and is an excellent oil to help uplift the spirit and bring about a sense of security.
After two nights of diffusing this combo, I realized that it had been my maintenance for emotional support and stability since being off of medications. A bonus is that both of these essential oils are low priced!
