Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I had only had my essential oils for two days when my son woke up with this rash all over his feet all the way up to his little bottom. Later the sores showed up around his mouth and hands as well.
So I took him to the doctor. She said that she did not know what it was, but she suspected that it could possibly be hand, foot and mouth disease. I had never seen this before, so I went home and googled it.
Once I knew that it was indeed hand, foot, and mouth disease, I contacted my sponsor. She advised me to put one drop of the Thieves essential oil blend on the bottom of each of my son's feet. And she had me apply the Purification essential oil blend, mixed with some coconut oil all down his spine. I rubbed the oils in very well.
When my son woke up in the morning, all the sores around his mouth were gone, and all the ones on his hands were gone too! Most of the ones on his legs were gone as well, but some were still left on his feet.
I immediately reapplied the essential oils that morning, and the remaining sores on his legs and feet were gone just a few hours later. My husband did not initially believe in these oils, nor had he wanted me to purchase them. Well, he does now!

1. | Associated topics: virus — "The presence of beta-caryophyllene in many essential oils might contribute strongly to their antiviral ability. These results indicate that phenylpropanoids and sesquiterpenes present in essential oils contribute to their antiviral activity against HSV [herpes simplex virus]." | Link |
2. | Associated topics: virus — "Taken together, we found an essential oil blend [Orange, Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary] notably attenuates influenza virus PR8 infection in vitro via inhibition of viral protein synthesis at the post-transcription level. The lack of toxicity and potent specific inhibition ability make the essential oil a possible antiviral drug for influenza virus proliferation control and treatment." | Link |
3. | Associated topics: virus — "Tea tree oil (TTO) (Melaleuca alternifolia) has been used recently as an effective topical application for the treatment of skin infections due to a variety of aetiological microbial agents, including mainly bacterial infections. We detail... the successful treatment with TTO of a paediatric patient with warts on her right middle finger. TTO was applied topically once daily to the lesions for 12 days, with a successful outcome, including complete re-epithelization of the infected areas. The case highlights the potential use of TTO in the treatment of common warts due to human papilloma virus." | Link |
4. | Associated topics: virus — "Essential oils from anise, hyssop, thyme, ginger, camomile and sandalwood were screened for their inhibitory effect against herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) [genital herpes]. A clearly dose-dependent virucidal activity against HSV-2 could be demonstrated for all essential oils tested. Chamomile oil exhibited a high selectivity index and seems to be a promising candidate for topical therapeutic application as virucidal agents for treatment of herpes genitalis." | Link |
