I have suffered from deep, painful cystic acne on my chin for most of my adult life. Nothing I tried topically made a difference, and the condition was both frustrating and embarrassing.
I had been researching the cause and found that it was most likely hormone related. Well, my hormones have been out of whack since I was a teenager with long, painful periods. I also cannot be on synthetic hormonal birth control because it makes me very ill.
