Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
We were supposed to be leaving on a cruise, and I had been healthy all winter while everyone else was sick. Then, just three days before the cruise, I woke up congested with a terrible sinus infection.
I did not want to go to the doctor since it costs so much. I thought the sinus infection would go away with my usual Thieves essential oil blend and NingXia Red dose, but it only got worse!
My whole entire face hurt terribly by the afternoon and the next day. So I began looking up all the remedies I could find, and I applied every last one of them!
Here is my regimen using essential oils:
I ingested 2 to 3 drops each of Oregano, Peppermint, and the Thieves blend in some honey three times a day.
I applied Thieves essential oil blend on my feet at bedtime and then wore socks to bed.
I bathed in 2 to 3 drops each of Basil and Oregano essential oils. It stung my skin for a little while. LOL.
I applied 2 drops each of Frankincense oil , the RC oil blend, and Rosemary essential oils on my chest every couple of hours.
Oh, I cannot forget that I started taking 3 ounces of NingXia Red juice spread throughout the day instead of just my normal 2 ounces per day.
By the time we were ready to leave for our cruise (only three days after the sinus infection had started), I felt awesome!
I have been using therapeutic-grade essential oils for about a year now, and I am so thankful for them!

The effects of Cineole in the treatment of acute bronchitis were clearly measurable and could be proven after a treatment period of merely 4 days. This study corroborates the fact that Cineole actively and significantly reduces cough frequency after four days." | Link |
2. | Associated topics: sinus-infection — "The antibacterial activity of 14 essential oils and their major constituents in the gaseous state was evaluated against [respiratory tract pathogens] Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Staphylococcus aureus. [The] oils [with cinnamon bark, lemongrass, and thyme being most potent] and their major constituents were shown to be effective against various bacteria tested.... These results indicate that the antibacterial action of essential oils was most effective when at high vapor concentration for a short time." | Link |
