I was very surprised to learn about all the toxic chemicals that were in the products I used everyday. This included cleaning products to personal care products like toothpaste! We absorb up to 60% of what we put on our skin and our children absorb 40-50% more then we do. No wonder more and more people have allergies and our livers are overloaded. I knew I needed to find better options.

I now make my own cleaning products and many of my own personal care products. The Thieves Household cleaner is all you need to replace your old cleaning products. Here are some ways you can use it:

* For light cleaning and to kill germs, simply mix one capful in a 16 oz spray bottle, fill the rest of the bottle with water and clean your counter tops, doorknobs, kitchen and bathroom faucets, shower walls, silk plants and refrigerator.

* To clean your toilets, sinks and grout, mix one capful with 1/2 cup of baking soda and a little water to make a paste and scrub away.

* To make a wood polish, mix 4 capfuls with 8 ounces of sweet almond oil and 12 drops of Orange essential oil in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use. Then spray the concoction on a wood surface and wipe clean with a soft cloth.
