Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

As a kid, I remember always finding my mom's hair all over the bathroom, so as I got older and mine started "shedding" as well, I thought it was just normal. My hair has always been everywhere regardless of its length.

Last January, I went "no-poo" and began washing my hair with 1 tablespoon of finely ground chickpea flour, 2 drops of Rosemary oil, and enough water to make a paste. I would scrub my scalp with it, let it sit until the end of the shower, then rinse, rinse, rinse.

My hair grew incredibly fast and went from being shoulder length in January to halfway down my back in August. I also have had a bald spot on the right side of my head for as long as I can remember. I think that there is a liver spot there, but I have never been able to see it myself. I noticed in April that it was gone!

I stopped using the flour and went back to regular shampoo in June when I started a fellowship for the summer and knew I would be living in a hotel for three months. This regimen wasn't the neatest, and I didn't want to be messy in the hotels or travel with a giant jar of chickpea flour. I had tried the Copaiba shampoo/conditioner, but it made my hair heavy. Lavender was out, so I went for a "natural" brand from Target.

At Thanksgiving, I noticed my hairline above my temples had receded, my hair was thinning, and every time that I washed, ran my hands through my hair, brushed, or combed my hair, I would have 10-20 strands of hair come out with each stroke.

I immediately did some research and changed my ER to include Lavender shampoo and conditioner. I also bought a squirt bottle and filled it with witch hazel and 20 drops each of Clary Sage, Thyme, Cedarwood, Lavender, and Rosemary. I added 10 drops of each of these oils to my shampoo as well.

I give my shampoo bottle a good shake for good measure before using it. After showering, I spray the mixture all over my roots, allow it to absorb into my scalp, then blow dry and style.

My hair has completely stopped falling out within a week. I do not have to clean the drain after every shower. I don't clean my brush out every two days or watch hair fall out of my head as I blow dry it. My hands can run through my hair without catching strands that have fallen out. My hair is thickening all over, hairline is back to where it was, and it growing fast. I am so thankful!
