On September 18, 2015 my husband had a colonoscopy and was diagnosed with rectal cancer at the age of 47. We were in total shock to say the least.
We immediately decided we wanted him to receive the best treatment/care and wanted to nip it ASAP. So we decided together...we would seek a second opinion at The Cancer Treatment Centers Of America (CTCA) in Zion, IL. He could not start at CTCA until September 28, 2015 as that was the earliest they could get him in. So in the meantime....we felt every minute counted. We didn't want his cancer continuing to take over his body. We wanted to do something now!
He began drinking 6-8 ounces of NingXia Red and taking the essential oil regimen below:
Day 1: Put 10 drops of Frankincense and 10 drops of Tsuga in a 00 capsule, fill with extra virgin olive oil. Take 3 times during the day.
Day 2: Put 16 drops of Frankincense and 3 drops of Clove in a 00 capsule, fill with extra virgin olive oil. Take 3 times during the day.
Day 3: Put 10 drops of Frankincense and 10 drops of Lavender in a 00 capsule, fill with extra virgin olive oil. Take 3 times during the day.
Day 4: Put 10 drops of Frankincense and 10 drops of Ledum in a 00 capsule, fill with extra virgin olive oil. Take 3 times during the day.
Days 5-8: Repeat the above 4 day cycle
Days 9-12: Rest for 4 days
Day 13: Restart the program
On September 28, 2015 our initial evaluation began with CTCA. We saw numerous providers under one roof, as CTCA treats the mind, body and soul.
On September 30, 2015 CTCA did their own flex scope as they wanted to confirm how low the tumor was within the rectum. Additional pictures were taken and, to our amazement, we could not get over the difference in the appearance of the tumor. The tumor on September 18th was red, bloody, some black discoloration with white crusty looking lines throughout the tumor. But on September 30th, the tumor looked like healthy tissue. No discoloration and the white crusty lines were gone. My husband describes it as looking at a black wall compared to a white wall.
Please keep in mind the only thing he had been doing are the essential oil regimen above and drinking NingXia Red. This confirmed our prior experiences with essential oils and, unless they interfered with his treatment, he was going to keep using them.
Our initial evaluation ended on October 7, 2015. He was diagnosed with Stage IIA (T3N0M0) Adenocarcinoma of the rectum. The tumor was approximately 4.8 cm in length and occupying 50% circumference. CTCA recommended he begin 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation together Monday - Friday, with weekends off. CTCA also approved my husband to continue taking his essential oil regimen, however they were not sure about ingesting them internally. They preferred he use the oils topically or aromatically.
We assured them these are 100% pure oils with no synthetics or chemicals and with the results of the pictures between both scopes, we would really like him to continue taking them internally. They had no objections.
At 2 weeks into his treatment of chemotherapy and radiation, the nutritionist wanted him to discontinue using the essential oils because he was experiencing symptoms that should not occur, until the last few weeks of treatment. For example, expelling black specs through his stools. So he cut back on the essential oils for a few days, taking the regimen once a day. Then we decided NO, we are going to continue the regimen 3 times a day. The pictures were proof to us that they were working. We also did not want to regret stopping the oils.
At 4 weeks his oncologist decided to increase his chemotherapy pills. They were impressed with how well he was doing. They routinely commented to him....he made chemo look good. (We truly feel the essential oils are what helped keep his blood levels where they needed to be in order to continue the chemo and radiation everyday, and help keep his immune system boosted to prevent him from becoming ill...etc.) He had been taking 3 pills in the morning and 4 in the evening. Then they increased them to 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening.
That additional pill took it's toll on him quickly. He began getting fatigued very easily, stabbing stomach pains, severe diarrhea, along with neuropathy in his feet. We applied a few drops of Lavender for his neuropathy and added Peppermint to drive the Lavender in deeper.
Within days his neuropathy was very minimal. DiGize was used for his stomach pains/discomfort. It helped most of his stomach discomfort, but not the stabbing pains. He was in so much pain that he stopped the essential oil regimen, thinking that was what's causing his pain. I let him know the oils aren't doing this to him. It's the additional chemo pill.
Finally his treatment ended on November 20th. By the middle of December he began using the essential oil regimen again. On December 19th he had another flex scope done and was checked by a second surgeon in regards to the upcoming complex pending surgery. The scope revealed the tumor looked like scar tissue......YEAH!
January 20, 2016 was surgery day. They removed what was left of the tumor and took 16 lymph nodes out. The surgeons advised...all that was left were the roots from the tumor. Unbelievable!!! A week later we received the lab results from the tumor. 16 lymph nodes and margins. Everything came back CANCER FREE!! We were ecstatic!!
February 12, 2016 my husband had a follow up with his surgeons and oncologist's assistant. They reconfirmed all the lab tests came back cancer free!! The assistant also advised they down grade his tumor from T3N0 to T1N0. WOW!!! That really blew our minds. We asked the assistant....is that normal? She advised in her 18 years she has never seen that happen. She said the tumor was now being called a peritoneal cyst. WHAT??
I knew the Lord was going to heal my husband from his cancer, but never dreamed it would be this soon. They provided my husband with a flow chart and other information. Basically their recommendation was to continue with 4 months of chemo to be sure his body is rid of any microscopic cancer the labs did not detect. We let her know that, more than likely, he will not be going through the additional chemo. She said, "Your oncologist knew we would not be able to talk you into doing 4 months of chemo." We said why should he?
From what we can find on the internet, my husband's odds will only increase by 2-5%. The chemo would do more harm to his body than the 2-5% he could gain. After all, this round of chemo would be 5 chemo pills in the morning, fly to CTCA and receive a bag of chemo through an IV, with hopes to fly home the same day and take 5 pills in the evening. Then continue the chemo pills in the morning and evening for 14 days. Take one week off, then restart the cycle again for 4 months. This would really knock him down and destroy his body, and we cannot see a reason to do this.
He will be on the oil regimen for the rest of his life, not as drastic, however we know this will be a permanent part of his life here on earth. We firmly believe he was able to conquer cancer because of the many, many prayers and God's intended medicine for our bodies, essential oils. My husband's testimonial is truly INCREDIBLE! We want others with cancer to have hope and faith!
