Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
At my daughter's 6 month checkup she was found to have labial fusion. She was only open about 1/3 of what she should have been. The doctor explained that this was due to low estrogen. Babies don't produce much estrogen on their own, and she wasn't getting enough from me (I too have low estrogen levels, so this made sense).
He prescribed Premarin cream. I've learned that phytoestrogens (from plants) can be supportive to the body without some of the side effects caused by eoestrogens (synthetic), so to support her hormonal balance and maintain healthy vaginal tissue, I diluted Clary Sage oil and applied it topically at every diaper change.
There was slight opening after the first day, but not as much as I was hoping for.
Before bedtime on day 2, I applied diluted Fennel oil over the Clary Sage. The next morning I had to do a double take. She was WIDE open!
I continued using these two oils at every diaper change for 2 more days, and now I just apply them every night before bed. I will continue doing this for a few more days yet, and stop and start again as needed.
