My father was faced with making a life changing decision. If you ever had to help a loved one come to grips with leaving the home they had for 40+ years, then you know how traumatic and draining this process can be on all parties actively involved. We were faced with such a decision recently.
When having to address changing or bringing in your daughter to assist with day to day problem solving and financial decisions that you have made yourself for over 50 years, the ability to hand that over, even when it is the best decision, is very difficult. Especially so for men who are used to being the one taking on the responsibility of having to be the one making decisions and holding things together.
The situation was trying for both of us. So much so that I had to depend even more on the Lord to direct my steps and He never let me down. When dealing with my own personal anxiety, frustration, stress, fatigue, and headaches, I performed an AromaDome treatment at home using Lavender and Di-Gize. When I woke up the next morning, the headache was gone and my body felt like it just had a reboot.
To deal with helping my father to think clearly and work with me, the Lord had me to diffuse Cedarwood oil. Just as that pleasant smell filled the temple of Solomon in scripture, so also did it fill the hospital room that my father resided in. It not only uplifted his Spirit to smell it because he stated as much as well as stating how the nurses commented on the smell, but whereas I had a hard time getting him to work with me the day before, he was compliant and we were able to successfully get to the next stage in the process of transitioning him to downsizing.
All I can tell you is obedience to that still small voice, The Holy Spirit, which speaks to every one of us open to hearing, can truly yield unbelievable rewards. May YHVH bless you and keep you, make His face to shine upon you and grant you His Shalom.
