Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

We have a big Husky / Malamut mix (think the Disney movie "Balto" dog). Every year he gets a Spring haircut because otherwise he would overheat quickly. Like every year he starts itching himself badly, much worse than in the previous years, and he even got bite mark-like wounds. He was miserable.

In the previous years we used Yuck spray on him which, of course, doesn't help with the itchy skin plus he hated to get the spray on him.

This time around I had enough and I used a few drops of Frankincense and Lavender oils, water, and coconut oil in a spray bottle. He was hesitant because it still included a spray bottle. I got it on him a couple of times and it got much better. Now he even goes to the medicine drawer and looks at me longingly.

He will get a bath and flea treatment soon so we can rule out flea bites. But this homemade solution saved us a bunch of money and got my husband on board with the essential oils!
