Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
Due to long-term pain meds, 10+ years, I have over-used nasal sprays to be able breathe through my nose. This damaged nasal and sinus tissues to the point of bleeding and much pain.
I would use nasal spray then Q-tip into my nose a mix of Vicks VapoRub and Adult Ora-Gel. Burned like crazy, but relieved the pain in about 10 minutes. Q-tip would only penetrate 1" and came out bloody.
My daughter, a Young Living distributor, suggested applying a twice daily blend of Lavender, Frankincense at 3 drops each and 1 drop each of Copaiba and Peppermint to the outside of my nose and sinuses. I also placed some under my nostrils to breathe in the cool peppermint smell.
On the second day the pain was greatly reduced and less nasal spray needed to breathe. I carefully put a tiny amount of this oil blend just inside each nostril (against her recommendation; peppermint did burn a little but soon felt cool and soothing. I did the same for day 3.
On day four I inserted a Q-tip and found no blood and instead of going in 1 inch, it slid painlessly in for two inches or more, right to the top of my nasal passage. I use almost no nasal spray now and have no pain or bleeding from my nose.
I also went swimming and, for the first time in years, I got my sinuses filled with water! They had been so swollen before that this could not happen.
Praise God and thank you Young Living for the healed nose and sinuses! I still use some oil externally 1-2 x daily. I am also experimenting with other oils to maximize effect and minimize cost. I always add some peppermint as I enjoy the cool, fresh scent and feeling. So far everything seems to help!
It has now been about 30 days since first using oils and doing great!
