My 4 year old son suffered from psoriasis and on a daily basis he would ask me for his "cream" to help soothe the itching, flaking and inflamed area behind his ear. This cream was a highly reputable over the counter cream that we were really hoping would work. It would only offer temporary relief and, unfortunately, he needed to apply it at least 6 times a day.
We started using Young Living essential oils to try and find a better way to manage his pain and discomfort without having to give such a small child a prescription medication.
We found that when using a blend of Frankincense and Lavender oils (equal parts) diluted, with either our V-6 mixing oil from Young Living or JoJoba oil, that his symptoms began to dissipate. So I put the blend in a roller bottle and applied it to the rash 2 times every day. He stopped complaining, stopped itching and his skin was supported in amazing ways!
