Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My husband was 29 years old and began experiencing testicular pain intermittently. It was just uncomfortable and inconvenient at first, but he just lived with it for a couple of months until it grew worse and more frequent.
He finally scheduled an appointment with his doctor to get examined. Much to our relief, he found out there was nothing seriously wrong, but the doctor still didn't know exactly what was causing it. So started the troubleshooting.
My husband explained that he worked a desk job and spent most of the day sitting. So the first thing that was tried was an anti-inflammatory drug to treat epididymitis. That did almost nothing. After two weeks of this med with no success, he was referred to a urologist.
At the urologist appointment, he was again assured that it wasn't cancer or anything like that but was instead told it was more than likely prostatitis. It was probably due to years of sitting all day during the work week. He was prescribed an antibiotic and told to give it a couple of weeks to kick in.
After giving that a fair shot but to no avail, we began looking for alternatives. We found prostatitis in our reference app and realized that we had two of the three oils on hand - Lavender and Cypress. After a few days of experimentation with dilution, he found he was able to handle neat application with equal parts of each oil. We ended up just filling an empty 15ml bottle we had half with lavender and half with Cypress.
He applied 2-3 drops of it topically three times a day to his perineum, and also to a couple acupuncture points that we can't remember the names of. They are on the inside of both ankles (about two fingers below the ankle bone), and on the inside of both calves (about four fingers above the ankle bone).
He also started using the recommended dosage of the Young Living's Prostate Health supplement shortly after starting the topical application of the oils. He also began making a point to stand and walk around for a few minutes every hour or so.
The timeline is a little foggy, but he thinks it wasn't much more than a week or two and he started noticing a difference. By a month or so, it was completely under control as long as he kept up with the regimen. He does remember that he could tell if he slacked off though.
After maybe about six months, he began to taper off the dosage. As of now, a little over a year later, he no longer needs to apply the oils and only takes one Prostate Health capsule every other day as maintenance.
