Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

This was discovered totally by accident.

One day I decided to diffuse Sandalwood oil -- alone. Just wanted to see how it might make me feel.

While diffusing, a thunderstorm brewed and went into full swing. Our older dog who gets extremely freaked out during thunderstorms, and even rainstorms, came into my room with the diffuser and just laid down in front of it. It was the first time she was ever seen to just relax and nap during a storm.

Over time we have tried other things, but thus far nothing comes close to Sandalwood oil. The room with the diffuser is a room she rarely enters, but when she does, and it is thundering or raining, I know what she wants and get out the Sandalwood to diffuse. Now my roommate (who is the dog owner) can finally get sleep on stormy nights. Before her dog would keep her awake all night, just freaking out.

The best solution thus far, over an approximate 4-month period, is to add 7-8 drops of Sandalwood oil in a diffuser along with the 5-6 ounces of pure water.

It works every time!
