I recently tripped in the driveway and smacked my forehead on the concrete. I was not knocked unconscious but I was instantly dizzy, nauseous, and I felt my forehead beginning to swell.

I gently swiped the site with a cotton ball, which I had applied a few drops of Lavender oil to. I did this again every couple of hours, and once again before bed that evening. The swelling never increased and I had no bruising!!

It took a week for the dizziness, the pain and the nausea to completely subside from the mild concussion. Inhaling Peppermint oil definitely helped to minimize the dizziness and nausea.
