Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I suffered for YEARS from the pain of menstrual cramps. Sadly, I used Ibuprofin way more often than I would consider safe use, just to find relief. How I wish knowledge of essential oils for menstrual cycle support had been "a thing" back then.
Fast forward to current times. My 16 year old daughter ALSO sadly experiences heavy, painful periods. I began to heavily research the use of essential oils for this purpose, and together, we came up with a regimen:
Thyme oil has been an incredible blessing to her. Application: 2 drops Thyme oil in 2 drops a carrier oil, rubbed over the abdomen until fully absorbed, twice a day. She begins 7 days before the onset of her period, and continues the first 2-3 days of it. We have not had to adjust this regimen.
She was thankful to notice results in the very first month, where her cramping decreased significantly, to the point that she was not asking for Advil as soon as her cycle began. The effects are reported, via studies and natural health practitioners, to be cumulative, and her relief support has grown with continued use.
Once she gets through the first few days of her period, she ceases use and resumes the week before her next period.
We are both so thankful for natural support!
