Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I had to write to tell you about my husband's leg. He had a plant infection that I cleared up with oils and during that process his skin turned super red and splits appeared all over the leg.
I thought that maybe it was contact sensitization. So I stopped using Lavender oil and just used the Animal Scents ointment on the inflamed area. I continued to use the Relieve It blend and Lemongrass on the back of the knee and foot. I also massaged the incision scars on his leg.
Several years ago doctors broke his toes and pinned them straight (to prevent and fix curling). He had no neuro muscular use of his leg and foot at all. His foot was so sensitive that for years he slept with his bad leg draped over the edge of the bed for fear I would accidentally touch it in the night. I now massage his foot freely.
Now for the weird part. During the first bout of growing with this leg two bands appeared around the leg just below the knee and just above the ankle, that looked like a rubber band was tightened on it. The rest of his leg was unusually shaped and swollen like that for about 2 weeks or so.
There has always been some degree of swelling or irregularity so neither of us thought much of it. I thought it looked like it was growing but never said anything about it until he mentioned it first.
Then there was no denying the leg was actually bigger. We never measured it but the easiest way to describe the leg before I treated it. He could wrap his hand around the leg and his fingers would touch, now there are several inches between them. I used the oils with no intention, just hoped that the oils would do something.
Lo and behold they did. I believe the leg still growing as there are two new bands around the leg that are about an inch in width and again tight like a rubber band. This time the leg is swollen and mis-shapen above and below the bands.
The medical community gave him no hope for his leg. As a matter of fact, a specialist thought amputation was the answer to the terrible pain he experienced. His pain has decreased dramatically and he is up and on the move in ways he hadn't been able to do in a long time.
I have taken pictures but I don't think they do justice for what has really happened here. The blessings we have received since coming into contact with these oils is nothing less than miraculous to us. I have no idea what I am doing and can't help but think if there was someone that actually knew what they were doing, how much more progress would be seen.
He has a host of "no hope" conditions I haven't even begun to get into. I am open and welcome suggestions as I am surrounded by needy ones.
I thank God and Gary Young for these awesome oils. There is no better gift from the earth than these oils!

1. | Associated topics: mobility — "We examined the evidence regarding the effect of herbal medicine on pain in people with non-specific low-back pain (LBP).... Lavender essential oil applied by acupressure appeared effective in reducing pain and improving flexibility compared to conventional treatment." | Link |
2. | Associated topics: swelling-/-swollen-/-puffy — "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases." | Link |
3. | Associated topics: nerve-pain — "The patient was successfully treated with topical peppermint oil [for postherpetic neuralgia, a complication of shingles].... The authors believe this is the first evidence of peppermint oil (or menthol) having a strong analgesic effect on neuropathic pain." | Link |
4. | Associated topics: nerve-pain — "Ameliorative effects of Ocimum sanctum [holy basil] in sciatic nerve transection-induced neuropathy...." | Link |
5. | Associated topics: nerve-pain — "Topical high-concentration L-menthol is the only established human experimental pain model to study mechanisms underlying cold hyperalgesia. We aimed at investigating the combinatorial effect of cold stimuli and topical L-menthol on cold pain and secondary mechanical hyperalgesia. Cold detection threshold and cold pain threshold (CPT) increased after L-menthol and remained high after the cold rekindling cycles.... Skin blood flow increased after L-menthol and stayed stable after cold cycles. Repeated application of cold on skin treated by L-menthol facilitated and prolonged L-menthol-induced cold pain and hyperalgesia." | Link |
