I went outside to cut some flowers before our company came to our home. This was outside the laundry room door. I didn't even get off the steps and I was stung by a wasp. It took me by surprise.
I limped over to cut a giant hydrangea and I could feel it begin to burn really bad. Tried to go into the house through another way, but the door was locked. I had to go back through the laundry room door. I didn't see any more wasps so thought I was clear. In an instant I had them swarming around me. I got stung three more times! They were all on my knees.
I came inside and looked quickly on this website for what essential oils to use. I decided on using 3 drops of the Purification blend in my hand and patted it on each sting. Then 3 drops of Lavender oil and did the same. Then 3 drops of the Thieves blend. The stings were swelling bad and burning.
In 5 minutes I did the same routine. Within an hour, the burning was gone, the swelling was down and the redness was disappearing.
The next day I was telling my chiropractor what had happened. She was astounded that I had no swelling etc. I showed her my knees. You couldn't even see where I was stung in those 4 places.
I am so very thankful for this website and for the amazing Young Living oils!
