My husband has struggled with sleep issues all his life because he has Aspergers. He has tried different things for sleep including a CPAP machine. We noticed positive results after the first night of using Lavender oil in the diffuser. He said, "That's the most restful night sleep I've had in a while... even better than the medication!" And we were pleased that his doctor said we can use less medication if the aromatherapy at night is helping him!
