Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I accidentally jabbed the palm of my hand with a sharp knife! I was trying to pry two frozen fillets of fish apart. I was being careful, but sure enough, the knife slipped and went into my hand about 1/3 of an inch. It was about an inch below my index and middle fingers.
Fortunately, the blade went in at an angle and missed my tendons. I thought I was going to faint, and talked myself through sitting down and putting my head between my knees. My husband was with me and asked if I was okay. I pressed a paper towel onto it while I sat.
I use essential oils every morning, and one of them is Copaiba. Since I'm in my 50s, my cuts and scrapes don't heal as quickly as they used to, but this time, since I'm always using essential oils with my hands, my cut healed quicker than usual, and I don't have a scar left behind. My regimen involved applying Copaiba oil on the cut every morning and evening since it's good for skin problems.
I also had a little sore on the back of one of my hands, and it had already started to scab, so I didn't get to it right away, and wish I would have. It healed more quickly too, but there is a discolored area there, so I'm hoping that a twice-daily application of Copaiba will help that area heal as well.
