Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My highly independent male cat Tatters used to jump up onto my desk when I was working. His pattern changed. Now he hops up on a chair, then onto a wall shelf unit, walks across my Young Living papers, steps gently down onto the computer desk, and comes for a hug - or so I thought. He'd purr and 'bug' me. In the past I thought he wanted food, but noticed that often times he did not eat it.
I discovered when he appears via his new route, his back is hurting, He can no longer hi jump up onto the desk, so he's created a new path of access.
This is the routine. After he arrives I reach to the oil supply in the desk cupboard, get the Wintergreen oil and put 4 to 6 drops on his back. He just sits there. He watches me put the cap on the Wintergreen and back in to cupboard. He then backs up and allows me to rub the oils into his back while he purrs.
In a minute he either lays down on my left arm and watches what's happening with the computer screen, or jumps down, goes up on a chair at the end of the massage table, up onto the table - to the pillow, and makes a bed for himself under a warm lamp. Netting it out, he comes for his pain relief and then takes a cat nap.
Generally he smells of Wintergreen for about 24 hours. It makes the house and office smell nice too.
