Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
For two days in mid-August my left shoulder was hurting in all the places where it did when I was rear-ended and got a whiplash. Just about the time I was over the first injury, I was rear-ended again and was re-injured.
But that was a few years ago, and I don't remember doing anything strenuous this week and then feeling pain afterward.
So I had my daughter massage it with the Valor and Relieve It oil blends and while she was massaging me, the pain improved but didn't totally go away. The next day my shoulder was still hurting, and I was standing in front of my oil-case wondering what would bring permanent relief ("if at first you do not succeed, try again!")
All of a sudden I remembered one of my down line having used Marjoram oil for arthritic pain in her wrists. My husband massaged my shoulder and neck with it and the pain went away, and it hasn't come back!
It is now Sunday afternoon, and I'm at work, sitting pain-free and comfortable at my desk in a very cool room expressing gratitude for all of the above.
I'm thinking that perhaps the imminent weather change, from hot and humid to cooler and rain with tornado watches in effect, was making my old injuries bother me. It hurt so much, it brought tears to my eyes a couple of times, so I was really glad when something finally worked!
I'm so thankful to have these trustworthy, "no harmful side effects" products available!

3. | Associated topics: muscle-pain — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery." | Link |
