Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I started using Lavender oil when my boys got the chicken pox. They wanted me to get the shots, but I held out until they got them. We were planning a trip and I didn't want my kids to be covered in scabs. So I would put them in a tub with baking soda and Lavender oil, about 8 drops per tub, and told them to soak in it. Instead of the usual 21 days, in 2 weeks vacations plans were a go!
My son now uses Lavender for his acne. Also, I didn't know this was a use, but it seems my youngest son used Lavender because his testicles were itching. Instead of powder, this time he reached for the Lavender, tried a little and it didn't burn. He was still itching so he applied a bit more. I'm not sure how much he used, but he said it helped.
Also before I left for a convention my older son burned his hand by slopping hot tomato sauce all over it. We poured Lavender on it. The next day there was only a little red mark left, as I missed a spot when I put the Lavender on the hand.
I love high quality essential oils!
