I ended up getting a very raw throat that was so severe that it felt worse then when I had my tonsils out when I was 9 years old. I could not stand to swallow at all. I used the Thieves and Exodus II oil blends swabbed on my throat and it didn't help like it had before. This raw throat was different then any other raw throat I have ever experienced.

I took my NingXia Red juice and decided to just hold it against my raw throat and gargle with it to see if the coolness of the NingXia Red would it eased the pain. I held it there for a while before I swallowed to my amazement my throat felt better and did not hurt as much, plus I could stand to swallow now. I had only gargled three more times and my raw throat had just vanished. A big thanks to NingXia Red.

Also I would like to add that our granddaughter stayed with us and she had to keep clearing her throat so I had her do the same thing with NingXia Red and it relieved the problem.

That night when she went to bed it started up again and I had her gargle with NingXia Red and the clearing of the throat stopped immediately. It only happened 2 other times during the night and each time she did, I had her gargle with NingXia Red.

She went right back to sleep and slept the rest of the night waking up fine.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: sore-/-scratchy-throat — "The antibacterial activity of 14 essential oils and their major constituents in the gaseous state was evaluated against [respiratory tract pathogens] Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Staphylococcus aureus. [The] oils [with cinnamon bark, lemongrass, and thyme being most potent] and their major constituents were shown to be effective against various bacteria tested.... These results indicate that the antibacterial action of essential oils was most effective when at high vapor concentration for a short time."Link
2.Associated topics: sore-/-scratchy-throat — "Streptococcus pyogenes [strep] plays an important role in the pathogenesis of tonsillitis.... [T]hyme, cinnamon, lemongrass, tea tree, lavender, oregano, clove, palmarosa, or cajeput [melaleuca] EOs [essential oils] are known to be active against Streptococcus pyogenes, while oregano, basil, mint [peppermint], rosemary, and lavender EOs are known to inhibit another Gram-positive bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus [staph].... We showed that cinnamon presented the higher activity against S. pyogenes compared to the other EOs tested.... 14 [essential oils] showed antibacterial activity against Streptococcus pyogenes.... Among them Cinnamomum verum [cinnamon bark], Cymbopogon citratus [Xiang Mao], Thymus vulgaris CT thymol [thyme], Origanum compactum [oregano], and Satureja montana [Mountain Savory] essential oils exhibited significant antibacterial activity. The in vitro results reported here suggest that, for patients suffering from bacterial throat infections, if aromatherapy is used, these essential oils, considered as potential antimicrobial agents, should be preferred."Link
3.Associated topics: sore-/-scratchy-throat — "[T]he antibacterial activity of lemongrass oil (LG) and its major components (citral, geraniol, and myrcene) against four strains of clinically isolated bovine mastitis pathogens (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Bacillus cereus, and Escherichia coli).., as well as their activity on S. aureus biofilm formation [were investigated].... [T]hey inhibit S. aureus biofilm formation and exhibit effective killing activities on preformed biofilms."Link
