Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My 15 month old grandson had a spider bite that was misdiagnosed by the Emergency Room physician. Both his parents and I were sure it was a spider bite. When I saw him on Sunday, the bite was already 24 hours old and his parents were waiting to take him to the pediatrician on Monday.
The little guy never complained but in the afternoon when he was trying to get comfortable and fall asleep with his bottle he seemed unable to lay his hand down. I mixed some virgin olive oil and Lavender oil in the palm of my hand, rubbed my hands together and then while speaking with him in a soothing manner, non-chalantly rubbed first his good hand, then the sore hand and then the soles of his feet.
Within a couple of minutes he relaxed amd fell sound asleep with his bottle hanging out of the side of his mouth. His dad was amazed that he was sleeping so soundly as he had been very restless and unable to sleep since the bite occurred.
When the little guy woke up all of the red and purple swelling around the bite was gone and he played happily. The pediatrician confirmed it was a spider bite and began an aggressive treatment with anti-biotics. Needless to say he reported the misdiagnosis to the proper authorities.
