My mom was not doing very well when I took her in for her usual therapy session. The doctor checked her vital signs and noticed that she was not at all her usual healthy self.
The therapist double checked with another doctor and they agreed that an EKG should be done. Everyone who knew my mom and saw her that day were shocked and saddened by her condition.
The EKG showed that she was operating on only one of the three heart connectors. Her legs were swollen, retaining water. She was prescribed Lasix, every other day, and an increase in her chelation treatments. We were unable to pick-up the Lasix until the following day.
We also became aware that the change in her thyroid medication may have caused a problem. Mom and I returned the next day for more tests. I asked the therapist if I could use the Young Living Joy Oil blend on her and she said it would be a good support for her heart and to do so. I put the Joy Oil on her immediately and again when we returned to her home.
I also used the following to support her body systems: Peppermint Oil over the thyroid, Frankincense Oil in the diffuser, the Valor oil blend and Lavender oil on her spine, Cypress Oil on the inside of her ankles to the knees. Within 2 hours she was feeling much better.
She has only needed the Lasix a few times and the doctor has reduced her chelation therapies to the minimum. She is now alternating the Aroma Life oil blend with Joy over her heart occasionally. Her tests showed that the thyroid was putting out no hormones on it's own. She has been put back on her original thyroid medication, Armour.
She will have another EKG in 3 weeks and we are hopeful that the 2 connectors that had stopped functioning will be found functioning again, even though the doctor has never seen that happen before.
Naturally, we have been praying throughout this entire crisis. To God be the Glory!

2. | Associated topics: hormones — "After inhalation of clary sage oil, cortisol levels were significantly decreased.... Thyroid stimulating hormone was also reduced.... Clary sage oil has antidepressant-like effect...." | Link |
3. | Associated topics: edema-/-water-retention-/-dropsy — "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases." | Link |
4. | Associated topics: hormones — "DHEA [a component of PD 80/20], an androstene hormone [precursor to estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, cortisone, and other hormones], has been shown to possess a wide range of beneficial biological effects mainly attributed to immune system modulation.... thus leading to beneficial effects in diverse human diseases including resistance to infection, neuroprotection, wound healing, diabetes, hepatic injury, cardiovascular disease, and cancer." | Link |
5. | Associated topics: hormones — "Most studies, as well as clinically applied experience, have indicated that various essential oils, such as lavender, lemon and bergamot can help to relieve stress, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. Most notably, inhalation of essential oils can communicate signals to the olfactory system and stimulate the brain to exert neurotransmitters (e.g. serotonin and dopamine), thereby further regulating mood." | Link |
6. | Associated topics: heart,hypothyroidism-(Low-Activity) — "Myrtle oil (MO) exerts hypoglycemic as well as mild hypotriglyceridemic activity in diabetic animals. The reduction in blood glucose level may be due to the reversible inhibition of alpha-glucosidases present in the brush-border of the small intestinal mucosa, higher rate of glycolysis as envisaged by the higher activity of glucokinase, as one of the key enzymes of glycolysis, and enhanced rate of glycogenesis as evidenced by the higher amount of liver glycogen present after MO administration." | Link |
7. | Associated topics: hormones — "Results of bone density, bone mineral content, bone tensile strength and histological analysis also showed similar trend of results, which supported initial observations of this study. It is proposed that hydroalcoholic extract of dried clove buds has bone-preserving efficacy against hypogonadal [hormonally deficient] osteoporosis." | Link |
8. | Associated topics: heart — "[I]dentifying... the effects of YYA [ylang ylang aroma] on blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) is important in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of YYA. The present results demonstrated that inhalation of YYA significantly decreased the systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Inhalation of YYA also significantly decreased the HRs in 10 leads.... In the present results, YYA caused a reduction of HR and BP, and a relief of the arousal level in healthy men. The present results show a sedative effect of YYA, and this study provides some evidences for the usage of YYA [as a] medicinal agent." | Link |
