Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My husband had shoulder surgery several years ago and the doctor said he had a combination of calcium deposits, bursitis, and a bone spur all in the same shoulder. They apparently took care of all these with the surgery. He had several shots of cortisone before the surgery.

He has recently been complaining about a pain in the other shoulder and wonders whether he will have to resort to the same procedure. I am researching natural alternatives now! The other day he hung a new chandelier for us and really strained his shoulder and complained of severe pain from his neck all the way to his wrist.

That night I massaged his shoulder with a couple of drops of Cypress and Balsam Fir and the next morning his pain was 90% better. Another treatment the following night took care of the pain for good. I do not believe he needs surgery!

I am quite enjoying my role of finding natural solutions for my family!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints, osteoarthritis — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints, osteoarthritis — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: joints — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
