When anyone in my family is starting to come down with a cold, runny nose, or general respiratory discomfort, we use Lemon essential oil.

We put a few drops of Lemon oil in a diffuser and let it run all night long near our heads. This way we breathe it in as we sleep.

This works particularly well if we diffuse the Lemon oil when we are first feeling the cold coming on!
