Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
Sandalwood is a most amazing oil, it helps the body produce melatonin and serotonin. It is most calming and relaxing if used before sleep. I apply a tiny bit of the oil on my inner wrists then rub them in the crook of my elbow on each side. I also brush my pillow with a drop of the oil. I lay my head on my pillow with my arm positioned so my nose is in the crook.
The intoxicating beautiful scent of this oil feels like being exotically carried away into a dreamy paradise without a care in the world. I feel pampered and nourished at the same time. Sandalwood has sesquiterpenes that have the ability to cross the blood brain barrier with it's nourishing nutrients and properties.
Remember all therapeutic-grade essential oils contain oxygen, plus all the nutrients and properties of the original plant. When we apply the oil we get all of that almost instantly into the cells of our bodies.
