Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I drink hot tea several times a day and not long ago something amazing happened that would've been tragic. I poured a big mug of hot water from a rolling boil and walked over to my couch. As I sat down, the mug slipped and poured scalding hot tea in my lap.
I ripped off my pants, hobbled into the kitchen, and put an ice pack between my legs for a few minutes (it was all I could stand). I took a big handful of coconut oil and rubbed it gently all over the burned area.
It was immediately soothing. I went to my bathroom where I keep the Lavender oil and poured several drops onto my hands and worked it into the affected area.
Before bed, I reapplied the coconut oil and Lavender, even though it didn't hurt anymore. The next morning when I woke there wasn't a sign that it ever happened. No pain, no redness. I have also gotten rid of sunburns on myself and my daughter by the next day with the coconut/Lavender oil combo.
I wish I'd known about this stuff years ago!
