I was pouring boiling hot thick cream soup in to a container and instead poured it over my hand from my index finger knuckle to my thumb. I soaked my hand in a bowl of ice water for about an hour but each time I took it out of the water intense pain returned as well as the skin being bright red. I put a few drops of Helichrysum and Lavender on the area and rubbed it in. Instantly the pain and redness vanished. The burned area never peeled or blistered like a burn usually does.
