Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

One day I noticed my right breast was especially sore, so I examined it and found what felt like a hard balloon inside, which was about half the size of my breast. It made my right breast visibly bigger than my left.

At first I thought it might be mastitis, so I tried applying Thieves oil blend to my breast once or twice a day, hoping it would kill any infection. When I didn't notice any difference after about a week, I decided to go to my doctor to get it checked out. The doctor examined me and said it felt like a cyst. He ordered an ultrasound and a mammogram to make sure.

The lady in the x-ray and ultrasound clinic mistakenly scheduled the mammogram first, which apparently is not protocol for someone my age, especially considering I have no breast cancer in my family.

After a couple of weeks of scheduling foibles, in which time I began applying 3-5 drops of Frankincense, Myrrh, Lemon and Lavender oil, interchangeably, twice a day and also taking a capsule of 10-20 drops once a day of the above listed oils (I switched it up each day), I finally went in for the ultrasound. Make sure that they are therapeutic grade oils.

From the day the ultrasound was ordered to the day I actually went in for it, three weeks had passed. I could no longer find the cyst myself. My right breast now looks slightly smaller than my left (which was normal before everything started).

When I went in for my follow up appointment to find out what it was for sure, the doctor said, "There's a tiny cyst in there." I told her it had been considerably bigger but that it had shrunk. She made a note of it in my file and offered nothing except "there's no malignancy." I didn't have the opportunity to mention the oils.

This doctor was not the one who originally ordered the ultrasound, so she never felt it when it was bigger to note the comparison. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to share about the oils, but I am most certainly happy with the result, whether the oils were to thank or not.

breasts - "D-limonene is one of the most common terpenes in nature. It is a major constituent in several citrus oils.... Being a solvent of cholesterol, d-limonene has been used clinically to dissolve cholesterol-containing gallstones. Because of its gastric acid neutralizing effect and its support of normal peristalsis, it has also been used for relief of heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). D-limonene has well-established chemopreventive activity against many types of cancer. Evidence from a phase I clinical trial demonstrated a partial response in a patient with breast cancer and stable disease for more than six months in three patients with colorectal cancer."Link
