Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

We found we were allergic to hot tub chemicals and broke out in a bad rash a year ago. Instead of getting rid of the tub, we turned to Young Living oils and are very pleased!

Upon cleaning and filling the tub, add about 20 drops of Geranium oil to the water. Then soak the filter using several drops of the Thieves oil blend, in a bucket of water, for a couple hours. Each time the tub is used, add a couple more drops, per person, of Geranium oil.

We rinse our filter weekly with a strong hose. No other chemicals are ever added. We have hard water, but fortunately with this protocol there is no build up in the tub.
