Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
In 1998, I had a rather disastrous accident. I was melting some wax on a gas stove in my kitchen, and left the room for just a moment. When I returned, the entire top of the stove was engulfed in flames.
I panicked and grabbed a notebook to attempt to extinguish the flames, but only managed to knock over the pan of boiling wax onto my arm. I couldn't attend to it immediately because I had to put out the fire. By the time I could pay attention to it, the wax had congealed and in pulling it off, the skin on my entire forearm came with it.
My first thought was to apply ice, then I remembered my Lavender oil for burns. I literally poured Lavender oil all over my arm. I then went to my Pranic therapist who worked to energetically remove the heat from the burned area.
She worked on it for hours. I continued to reapply Lavender and then the Melrose oil blend to prevent infection. I had the Pranic work done again the following day and continued the oils on a regular basis, then added Frankincense to prevent scarring.
Because of the seriousness of the burn, it took a few weeks to completely regenerate itself. I am left with only a small white patch by my elbow to remind me of that frightening day.
It was serious enough that the Pranic therapist, who does everything naturally, actually wanted me to go to a hospital. However, I felt that with this open wound, I could have picked up a staph infection, so I opted for 100% natural.
Without Young Living Essential Oils, I could not have done this on my own. We are blessed to have them!

2. | Associated topics: burns — "Melaleuca Alternifolia [tea tree] Hydrogel... was compared with tap water as a coolant following application onto a fresh, deep, partial-thickness hot water burn.... Effective cooling of the burn wound and an increased rate of wound healing was achieved by both repeated tap water compresses and by immediate or delayed application of Melaleuca Hydrogel. Cooling is an effective means to reduce tissue damage and increase wound healing." | Link |
