Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I must tell you about some amazing results my husband got when both our kids had head lice.
I have battled with head lice ever since the girls started school and they are almost impossible to get rid of and in the past. This was before we knew about Young Living.
I had always put copious amounts of toxic gunk on the girl's heads to get rid of the little mites. Anyway, this time my husband decided to look up the trusty essential oils reference book ( a must for every home) and he took out the relevant oils from our Aroma Complete Kit and made up the following:
Head lice blend:
* 4 drops Eucalyptus Radiata
* 2 drops Lavender
* 2 drops Geranium
He applied as instructed namely:- DILUTE 50-50: 1 part essential oils to 1 part V-6 Oil Complex, 1 tsp applied to scalp. Massage into entire scalp, cover with disposable shower cap and leave on for at least 1/2 hour. Then shampoo and use the following rinse:
Head lice rinse:
* 2 drops Eucalyptus Radiata
* 2 drops Lavender
* 2 drops Geranium
* 1/2 oz vinegar
* 8 oz water
Mix into a container with a watertight lid. Shake vigorously, then pour over hair making sure every strand is coated. This should be done leaning over bathtub or sink. This is not recommended if you are still in the bathtub as lice may cling to other body hairs. Dry naturally. Repeat until lice and eggs are gone.
If I had not seen the results with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it but the LICE WERE ALL GONE WITHIN 3 DAYS!! I have seen the oils work amazingly well in the past with all sorts of ailments but to conquer head lice I thought was a big task.
I now always reach for the essential oils reference book and the Aroma Complete Kit when needed!
