Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I was at my grandmother's house before Christmas, and we were making pizza in her oven. Well, I noticed that someone had dropped a pizza cutter at the bottom of her oven (the oven had already preheated). So I fished it out with a spatula and just let it drop on the floor to cool off before I picked it up. (I do not have youngsters... only teenagers.)
Well, my grandmother came in the room and must have wondered how the pizza cutter had gotten on the ground, so she went to pick it up. It had not cooled down and burned her pretty badly on her thumb and forefinger.
I felt awful and thought, "Oh, yeah!" I had just gotten my Young Living essential oils, and fortunately I had thought to bring them with me to her house. So I told her about Lavender essential oil and how it is reputed to help in such a scenario, so she said to get it out.
I put a drop on her finger, and she said it almost instantly stopped the discomfort. A little while later the discomfort started again, so I added another drop to her fingers.
I do believe that I might not have needed the extra later... if only I had had the Rose Ointment with me. If I had had it, I would have put the drop on initially and then just used the Rose Ointment to keep the essential oil on. The Rose Ointment acts as a sealant to help keep the essential oil in/on the skin.
