Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My Blue Heeler got very sick one day to the point that he was lethargic, wouldn't eat/drink, would hide when you approached him or called him. When I looked in his eyes, it looked like someone sucked the life out of him. His ears were down, and occasionally he would yelp if you touched him anywhere.

He was running a high fever, so I took him into the vet, and after running blood tests, concluded that he had Meningitis and they were not sure how he was going to do. They sent me home with an antibiotic.

In two days I had to rush him back in because his fever had spiked again. Again they sent me back home adding a muscle relaxer and pain pills to his medication regimen.

I called my upline, and asked what we would do if a human had meningitis. She couldn't really find anything specific on such a short notice, but came up with a mixture for me using the essential oils I had on hand.

First Day: 2 times

* 1 Tbs Olive oil
* 10 drops Lavender
* 14 drops Oregano
* 18 drops Lemongrass
* 4 drops of RutaVaLa

I applied this to the bottom of his paws using an eyedropper to get it in between the pads on his feet and saturate very well. Then I would lay him on his back, take a Q-tip and saturate one end, rub it on all of the pads on his feet and wait for it to soak in.

Second & Third Days: 5 times/every 2-3 hours

* 1 Tbs Olive oil
* 4 drops Lavender
* 10 drops Oregano
* 4 drops Lemongrass
* 4 drops of RutaVaLa

Fourth - Tenth Days: 2 times

* 4 drops Lavender
* 3 drops Oregano
* 2 Drops Lemongrass
* 2 Drops RutaVaLa

We weren't sure if he would pull through, he was that bad. Fortunately he did make a full recovery and is doing spectacular. I completely believe in these high quality essential oils.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: meningitis — "The antibacterial activity of 14 essential oils and their major constituents in the gaseous state was evaluated against [respiratory tract pathogens] Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Staphylococcus aureus. [The] oils [with cinnamon bark, lemongrass, and thyme being most potent] and their major constituents were shown to be effective against various bacteria tested.... These results indicate that the antibacterial action of essential oils was most effective when at high vapor concentration for a short time."Link
2.Associated topics: antibiotic — "As proven in vitro, essential oils [Eucalyptus, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Thyme, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Grapefruit, Clove, Sandalwood, Peppermint, Sage] represent a cheap and effective antiseptic topical treatment option even for antibiotic-resistant strains [such] as MRSA and antimycotic [antifungal]-resistant Candida species."Link
3.Associated topics: fever-/-febrile -/-temperature-/-(Pyrexia) — "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases."Link
4.Associated topics: puppy-/-dog-/-canine — "Idiopathic vestibular syndrome is the most common cause of peripheral vestibular disease in dogs and, despite its dramatic clinical presentation, can improve without intervention."Link
5.Associated topics: fever-/-febrile -/-temperature-/-(Pyrexia) — "Burn Healing Potential of Nigella sativa seed oil in rats.... Nigella sativa L. (Black cumin) has shown a broad spectrum of pharmacological effects like antipyretic [fever reducing], analgesic [pain reducing], anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial.... The present study suggests the burn wound healing action of seeds may be due to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of major compounds in the oil."Link
6.Associated topics: puppy-/-dog-/-canine — "[T]opical fatty acids and essential oils are a useful treatment option for canine atopic dermatitis."Link
7.Associated topics: meningitis — "[N]utraceuticals derived from such spices as turmeric, red pepper, black pepper, licorice, clove, ginger, garlic, coriander, and cinnamon target inflammatory pathways, and thereby may prevent neurodegenerative diseases."Link
