Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My 1 year old had tubes put in his ears after 5 months of ear infections and 7 rounds of antibiotics.
He has a lot of post-surgery drainage and the doctor's orders are to put antibiotic ear drops in his ears 3 times a day for 7 days until the drainage goes away.
In the 4 weeks following the surgery, we went through 3 bottles of expensive ear drops. Enter Young Living Essential Oils.
This week, his ears began to drain again. Instead of reaching for the Rx drops, I reached for Lavender oil and the Thieves oil blend. I put olive oil and a drop of Lavender on the tip of a child size q-tip and wiped it inside his ears (as if I were cleaning them out) before bed.
I DID NOT drop it into his ear canal. I also put some olive oil and a drop of Thieves in a cotton ball and wiped it BEHIND his ears in the crease.
The next morning, he woke up with NO drainage. I did this again the next night (even though the drainage did not return) and his ears are still free of drainage.
